A couple stands in front of the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. (later the A&P supermarket chain) store in Rocky Hill. They are identified on the verso as Peter and Anna Cortelyou. The Cortelyous owned the building and rented it to A&P. Their son Raymond ran the store until it closed. |
