Deeds, summons, statements, handwritten notes, and correspondence, most pertaining to Princeton, Mercer County, and the NJ Supreme Court. Majority of papers date from 1870s and 1880s. William James Gibby was also the principal of Princeton Public Schools from 1860 to 1877, after which he served as mayor of Princeton for two non-consecutive terms and also opened a law practice in town.
