The Doctor's Office, Bainbridge House, to the right of the entrance hall. Dr. Absalom Bainbridge, whose son Commodore Bainbridge was born in this house, was the first of several doctors to use this room as an office. The furniture, accessories and medical equipment are of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. On the oak tavern table are items used in preparing pills, including a pill roller or shaper. |
