Description |
Gardens of Guernsey Hall, 63 Lovers Lane, on the corner of Mercer Street, in May 1914. Previously known as "Fieldwood" and "Woodlawn." Designed by John Notman for the owner, Richard Stockton Field, circa 1850. Extensive renovations were done in 1912 by the architectural firm Cross and Cross. Allan Marquand, founder of the Princeton University department of Art and Archaeology, aquired the house in 1887. |
