View of Alexander Hall from Nassau Street. Designed by architect William A. Potter, Alexander Hall was built in 1892 as a convocation hall. Harriet Crocker Alexander funded the construction in honor of her husband Charles B. Alexander (Princeton Univeristy Class of 1870) , his father Henry M. Alexander (Class of 1840), and his grandfather Rev. Archibald Alexander (founder of Princeton Theological Seminary). |
