Description |
Lower Pyne, on the corner of Nassau and Witherspoon Streets. Moses Taylor Pyne built Upper and Lower Pyne for Princeton University in 1896. Raleigh C. Gildersleeve designed both buildings in a Gothic Revival or Tudor style. Initially, the buildings housed shops at the street level and undergraduate dormitories upstairs; the dormitories were converted to offices in the 1950s. |
