Description |
Two men stand in front of Marquand Chapel, Princeton University. Marquand Chapel was completed in 1882 and destroyed in a fire in 1920. The chapel was designed by Richard Morris Hunt and funded by Henry G. Marquand. In response to increasing enrollment, the Marquand Chapel was built to seat 1000, making it significantly larger than the earlier chapel by John Notman. |
