Description |
89-90 Nassau Street. According to notes on the verso, this photograph shows the building c. 1901, as it was being prepared to be moved down Witherspoon Street so the new First National Bank Building could be constructed on this site. The earlier First National Bank building is to the left, with the Nassau Pharmacy on the right. Note, however, that photographs of the Nassau Pharmacy in transit date the move to c. 1890. The stone in front of the building on the side of the street bears the date 1893, suggesting this photograph must show the building after 1893. |
