Description |
A group of men standing in front of Lower Pyne, on the corner of Nassau and Witherspoon Streets. Moses Taylor Pyne built Upper and Lower Pyne for Princeton University in 1896. Raleigh C. Gildersleeve designed both buildings in a Gothic Revival or Tudor style. Initially, the buildings housed shops at the street level and undergraduate dormitories upstairs; the dormitories were converted to offices in the 1950s. |
